Each year in March, Victoria comes together to celebrate Cultural Diversity Week, which is a time to celebrate the power, influence, and stories of Victoria’s rich multicultural communities. The theme this year is: Our Past. Our Future: Celebrating and reflecting on the contributions of Victoria’s multicultural communities.
Since 2010 the City of Ballarat’s Harmony Fest has celebrated its culturally diverse community and their contributions to society. This year Harmony Fest will be held from the 16th – 23rd March.
To support the Harmony Fest calendar of events, the Ballarat Italian Association will be showcasing the following Italian Movie for your viewing pleasure.
Screenings will be shown at the Regent Cinemas in Lydiard Street.

Synopsis: A big family that like any other one includes relatives that see each other often and others that rarely meet, reunite to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of grandma Alba and grandpa Pietro in a big Villa, on the island they moved to. Because of weather conditions they all remain stranded on the island and the idyll between them seems to be over.
